well, today has gone better than I thought it would.  I walked around walmart for a good half hour and then walked around k mart for another half hour to 45 minutes.  I also did some walking in place and tried my hand at jump roping, which was a dismal failure.  we had lunch/dinner at a chinese buffet and I must say that I did great at it!  as you will see, from the exercise I did today I gained extra calories, but I don't think I will be using many of them.  I will probably splurge and have some ice cream later, but not too much.  I don't want to go very much over my real calorie goal.  It's 170 calories/ half cup, so I'll probably have about 1-1.5 cups.  If I eat that much I'll only go over by 52 calories today even  though it was my splurge day!
